'05 Chevrolet Aveo

Buyers and drivers looking for a car having extra performance without the extra bit of hype have a candidate just for their tastes – the 2005 Chevrolet Aveo. The fuel economy is incredible even for urban roads, where the mileage is around 27mpg. That the vehicle gives 35mpg on highways testifies that it is geared for long drives as well.

The 2005 Chevrolet Aveo has an I-4 engine capable of producing a nice and strong 103 horsepower with 107lb-ft of torque. All models are based on the front-wheel drive with an automatic or manual four-speed transmission. The Special Value edition – one of the most economical vehicles in the market (both in terms of price and performance) – has only a manual transmission.

The 2005 Aveo is surprisingly comfortable as a hatchback or a sedan. As a minimalist automobile, it has a bit of just about everything – from adjustable seats to the optional sunroof.

There are a number of revisions in the exterior and the interior of the 2007 Chevrolet Aveo, not to mention a few additions under the hood as well. However, these upgrades have not deterred the vehicle from preserving its reputation as one of the most economical vehicles on the road and in the market.

The 2007 Chevrolet Aveo retains the 103hp I-4 engine with 1.4-liter capacity from the previous makes. The change comes in its transmission – a five-speed manual transmission is introduced as a standard feature. The automatic four-speed transmission is optionally available.

The wheelbase is slightly modified in the 2007 Aveo sedan. The styling of the exterior is also revised in the year 2007. Additional features include front-side airbags, an in-built air-conditioning system, power windows and steering, and a CD entertainment hookup. The sunroof is still available as an option and so is the anti-lock braking mechanism (ABS).

When it comes to inexpensive automobiles, the 2006 Chevrolet Aveo tops the American auto market with its minimalist approach towards manufacturing a car that would cater to the needs of consumers. The 2006 Aveo is available both as a hatchback and a sedan, the latter being slightly longer than the former.

The performance of the 2006 Aveo does live up to expectations with the same I-4 engine revving up a nice 103 horsepower to propel the little vehicle across urban roads as well as highways. The Special Value edition continues to be the least expensive and most minimalist Aveo.

The 2006 Chevrolet Aveo provides ample visibility for its driver with its tilt steering wheel and adding the adjustable height feature to its front seats. The anti-lock braking system (ABS) is an option in the LT and LS trim levels. If that wasn’t enough, the 2006 Aveo LT also has a standard cruise control feature.

Drag was reduced by relocating the radio antenna from a stand-alone pole to incorporating it inside the rear windshield as well as rigorous wind tunnel optimization.

A "Double-Over-Head-Cam" (DOHC) as well as the introduction of a timing chain and Variable-Valve-Timing system afford the Chevy Aveo with features of higher-end cars while maintain a low-end price.

The 2007 Chevrolet Aveo achieves an astounding 37 MPG on the highway, making it one of the most fuel-efficient non-hybrid cars ever produced.

The 2006 Chevrolet Aveo comes equipped with remote keyless entry, full CD/MP3 sound system, power locks and windows, heated side mirrors and a sun roof, far more than any other base model car out today.

The Aveo holds tight to its impeccable safety standards and the 1.6L I-4 engine with 103HP and 35MPG highway still runs wild, catapulting the Chevrolet Aveo into early stardom among not just North American market fans, but world-wide as well.

Over 46% of the body of the Chevy Aveo is made of high-strength steel making the 2006 Chevrolet Aveo in a class all by itself for safety and security among compact cars.

2005 Chevrolet Aveo

The 2005 Chevrolet Aveo is a car known around the world, and this year she comes in with six (6) different variations. Some of the variations come with only a 5-speed manual transmission, while the latter L-series has the option for a 4-speed automatic. The Aveo comes in either a Sedan 4D or Hatchback style.

The Aveo has a 1.6L Inline-4 with 103HP and getting 35MPG on the highway, which makes the Chevy Aveo one of the most sought after cars for fuel-friendly purchasers.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gave the Aveo a near-perfect score for safety, a far-cry from the original thought that small cars are horrible in accidents. The 2005 Chevrolet Aveo is built like a tank, but driving the Aveo is like gliding on ice.
